Poker Run

Advanced registration is required. $20 per person.
Participants will meet at Everglades Rec Center by the picnic tables at 4:30pm to pickup their score cards and to obtain clues to 7 different rec centers. All rec centers will be nearby. During this time, participants will receive help finding a golf cart buddy, if needed, or driving a car is allowed. Please bring your gate card.
This is not a race. Take your time and BE SAFE!
Do NOT drink and drive.
Visit the 7 rec centers listed in the directions in any order to you want. At each center you will be greeted by a volunteer instructing you to pick one card from a deck of 52 cards. A volunteer will then record your card on your personal score card, thus creating your poker hand.
After you have visited all 7 rec centers, you will return to Everglades where pizza will be served as you await the announcement of the winning poker hands. You may BYOB for enjoyment back at Everglades. Cash prizes will be given to the top 6 places. Five-of-a-Kind is considered the highest hand. A full set of rules will be available on game day.
We recommend using a GPS or a cell phone with a mapping app to navigate to the Rec Centers.
